Lust Knight Demo # 1

Well, here I am...and here it is. It's something that I'm assuming many of you have been waiting for. Sorry for the lateness.

Couple of things:
-This is one of two demos that will be released. The second will be released a week or so before the full game is released.
-Performance, performance, performance...I'm still working on it. If its absolutely horrendous on your computer and ya can't stand it, let me know.
-Stats and such are set to allow for a lengthier demo. Also, as far as equipment is concerned, please check the Lust Knight page, or the readme. The reason I say this is because one of my beta testers, as prominent as he is, somehow managed to completely overlook the equipment system, even though its a driving point for the game.

Well anyways, hope you all like it for now:

Edit: Yep...This game's going to need a tutorial level.

Edit #2: Forgot to mention in the readme, when enemies are in a perpetual state of being fucked(by you), press D to recruit them, press A to finish them off.

  1. I've tried the demo but i think it's bugged. When i place my tent or capture a neutral base, girls still spawn as neutrals and not allies. Or am i missing something?

    1. To have allies, you have to first capture neutral enemies by sexing. Once you've done that, they should appear in the pause menu. Place them in one of 8 available slots and they will appear at the tent, or the captured outpost if it is on screen.

    2. it does not work with me, i made sex with the enemy that is not red, and then, when she finally likes the sex and stay forever, i go to menu and there is nothing =/

    5. ok now i discover that i need to press D to recruit the girl when she is feeling pleasute, but it still give me some errors to sumon her because i select her but it woulnt appear in one of the 8 blocks =/

    9. Right now, the red gem increases attack power by 1 point for whoever gets it. In this demo, it's kind of a test to see how relevant I might want to make it in the future. There is also a blue gem on stage 4 that is a lot harder to get. It raises HP.

    11. I don't know yet. In the next demo, a boss fight is guaranteed. The Alura Une appears on the second stage however. Not sure the demo will go there.

  2. First of all, FINALLY, good job on the release!

    then here comes the questions:

    1) is there a way to "respawn" or wake up the main girl when she is knocked out? Each time I am forced to relaunch the game

    2) The "converting ennemies thingy" dosn't seems to work, everytime I "kill" an ennemie/neutral with sex, the ennemies sometimes diseappears, sometimes stay knocked out on the floor and they doesn't appear on the "pause menu".

    3) Sometimes when I select a new level the ennemies doesn't appears at the beginning of the level. sometimes they just "pop" on me others times they doesn't spawn at all.

    4)The "pause menu" is nearly unreadable, dunno if it is because you didn't "designed" it for the demo but i barely can see what I am selecting on it. (and "sexed" girls arn't even available on it).

  3. 1) If you've got no allies to save you, go to the pause menu and press "O". It will take you back to the stage select.

    2)You won't always be able to convert a neutral enemy. It's random and the chance is based on the type of enemy. You can't recruit the enemy faction(red).

    3)When you say they don't spawn at all, do you mean no matter how long you wait? Maybe I need to check the spawn chances, but they should spawn somewhere at some point.

    4) I mentioned this in the readme already. I will fix it for future. Didn't think it was completely unreadable though...

    1. Thanks for the quick answers! I forgot to say that the game is running smoothly and free of crashs/lags on my "average" config.

      about the spawning ennemies: Well to be honest I didn't waited really long before restarting the game (less than 5 minutes),

      about the menu: thats okay if you fix it, but I dunno if you plan it, but being able to select stuff in the menu with the mouse rather than with the keyboard would be a hell of a relief for the player ^^.

  5. Is there a game-over screen in the demo? So far, I've only seen the protagonist get knocked out and then I'm forced to go back to the map screen through the pause menu.

      The most say that they want to do make randomly generated games (or what its called^^) because they have more potential for replay value and so on...and you are on it already far before the others thought about it :P

  10. Nice work!. Im actually having more fun punching catgirls in the face than anything else XD. This game has LOADS of potential and im really looking forward to buying the end result!. a few points i wana bring up that may help for future updates:

    1 - The Sex animation goes a little haywire. legs look detached and stomachs fuse! O_O also is there other positions? the computer animations can lick each other out but your character cant?
    2 - It takes AGES to level up. so when you go to stage 2 when your only lvl5 or 6 and the catgirls on top of the rock are all lvl 15 you just get destroyed too easy
    3 - How do you raise your likeness to the girls you recruit? i figured out kissing them drains your mana but it never seems to change the picture in the menu. the catgirl has her foot in your face and the ram girl isnt paying attention to you.

    hope this was a little insightful :D

      1. I'm probably going to spruce up the general sex animation, however, I want gameplay to be a driving point for this game. Plot wise, Leciu's extra girly bit is supposed to be some sort of magical, so it doesn't make sense to give her too many other ways of fucking the enemy, outside of driving her lady cock into them. Not to mention, more sex animations for the main character means that much more work, and that much more of a delay on the game. For that extra bit of sexy content, you'll be relying on sequences as seen on stage 5.

      2. Stated previously that stats are adjusted to prolong the demo a bit. These won't be for the final game.

      3.You can raise your affinity for your girls by kissing them, watching them taunt enemies, and reviving them when they've been KO'ed. Kissing only works if you actually have MP though. Secondly, kissing them restores their health by the percentage of MP expended.

      So the main characters futa then? After spending some more time on it, ive found everything said to be true. the pictures do change after some time. also after playing some more ive another few points to make!

      1 - Is there a way to delete/sell the recruites? i know the max recruits you can have is twice the level of your tent but im lvl 13 now and i still have a lvl 4 tiger that id like to swap out for something stronger and different. speaking of which
      2 - Am i right to assume the tigers are attack power, the rams are defence/health and catgirls are agility? and the clothing equipment you get off them increases the percentage bonus you get to each stat when your level up?
      3 - lastly is there a way on checking your experience and how long till your next level? or is that something to be implemented later?

  11. I've tried the demo and I must say I'm impressed.
    I really liked the game mechanics, from "recruitment" to "base conquering", I'm looking forward for the finished game.

    CG is better than previous games, I still find Ram Girls a little ridiculous, but Oni and CatGirls are really sexy. Rape move can be perfected.

    I have to report a bug I've noticed.
    When you acquire new equipments or souls, if you are defeated before completing the level, you still have them in the inventory but it seems like you cannot equip them. I say "it seems like" because in reality you still retain their power (for istance after I had conquered the "soul" of the Oni, I maintained her flying fist and her grapple, but I was not able to equip her garments anymore nor to transform in Oni form).

    In the end I have a few question:
    1) how many levels of "intimacy" you can lock with the allies?
    2) there will be game-over screens?

    1. Nice catch. I'll add that one to my docs. I've noticed 1 or 2 bugs with the equipment system so I'll have to give it a look.

      1. There are only 3 levels right now. Might do more with this down the line, however.

    1. Your tent can be leveled up by discarding equipment you have no need of, or destroying the enemy tent.

  13. The mechanics are astounding, but the art could use some work, the breast shape in particular is a bit off putting. However, the only way I can think to help describe the process is with a visual aid I lack the capacity to replicate given my current set of tools.

    1. I don't feel that the art is much less than what I wanted it to be. Don't need it to be perfect, just need it to be unique. Some animations will get sprucing as has been said, but the general style won't change.

    When I went there, it looks like I just get an ending cut scene. Is that a bug?

    1. Obtaining a soul from an enemy is supposed to be incredibly rare. But it is possible that there is a bug, if it absolutely will not happen. I'll add it to the list of things to be verified.

One big suggestion is to have some kind of spawn point such as the enemies coming out of there base or from off screen, or an image like a tree in the background that way we as players know where the enemy is going to pop up instead of fight an enemy and it then a bunch of mobs pop up, plus it can also add to the story type element or lore depending on how you make them spawn

  20. This is now one of my most antispated games :) though I had a two problems with it.

    1. On the third stage it seems like i'm stuck on the top left panel i'm not sure if anyone else had this problem? I see what looks like an elevator in the center top but I can't seem to figure out how to use it.

    2. Any chance this game will have a god mode cheat seems like the main protagonist loses a bit to fast when caught. Don't gimme wrong once I got the hang of it I actually enjoyed the game-play beyond it's porn aspect just saying though.
    Or a CG view would probable be just as good.

  25. *Sigh* Never post a comment on a game some time after having played it... Well, I wanted/should have written this sooner... So sorry if some of my comments are inaccurate.
    Also, sorry in advance for the long post.

    First, I must say I really loved that game. I always liked girl on girl action, that kind of rape game, and the recruitment/strategy element adds a really nice plus. Well, that game really hit the spot.

    Though, I feel like your game is still unpolished. Even though is not a necessity, I hope you'll take some time to upgrade it. Here is some point I think can use some work. Sorry in advance if I should a bit perfectionist about other's work.

    - I don't see a way to put the game fullscreen, and the window is kinda small (can be because I play on linux with wine and a dual screen)

    - The mini map, it could be really cool to view a miniature version of the stage. Also, changing the shape of the downed enemy unit could help, too.

    - I don't feel the way to target unit and give them order is that intuitive, and it feels pretty limited as-is. I must admit I always used keyboard to select unit and gave them orders, when I wasn't doing this directly in the inventory.
    > A "party bar" (like the one you always get in MMO games) would be great. ( http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/4025/rotwo1.jpg )
    > A way to select unit number X directly, and/or target multiple unit at the same time could be great. Like...
    1-8 : select unit X
    ctrl + 1-8 : add a unit to selection
    shift (+ ctrl) + 1-8 : give order to the selected unit. The "+ ctrl" part is here to double the number of orders, if needed
    shift + wasd : tell a unit to jump/crouch/etc.
    Well, it's just one way of doing it. it could also be : press 1-8 to select a unit, the game freeze, and then use 1-8 wasd to give orders. or anything you like.
    > Other orders, like "stay/guard here", "go there", "rape if you can", etc.
    > When units are guarding a camp, it seems they attack an enemy only if they are close enough. The matter in that is sometime, only half - or less - of your guards slowly get KOed one by one while the other so nothing.

    - The way the pause (in game) works is kinda strange, it's not really intuitive than the game sometime pause when you select and unit, and sometimes not.
    I would rather have a button to pause/resume the game (with, if possible, a nice graphical clue), or simply no pause at all.

    - Scrolling the map while selecting unit also isn't that great. I find it a bit slow, and am personally confused with the reversed right/left direction.
    A zoom/unzoom function would also be nice to quickly explore the map (stage... 3 is super slow when you don't know you can go by the bottom...)

    - And also, the menu/arrow/home button could be upgraded. Especially the inventory, the icon are pretty small, not centered (could be because I played on Linux with wine). The inventory isn't updated when you pick up something, and there is no way to sort stuff and delete duplicates.
    Not having to reequip your character while removing a soul would also be great.

    - I would love to see more behavior in enemy unit - like having healer which raises KO unit, unit which flees/heal when too much injuried...
    Also, it would be nice if enemy units sometime change their behavior during the game. Like, they stay at their base, then try to attack you, they retract to heal, guard a bit...

    1. - And, then, the battle. They are fine as they are, through the control are really stiff and don't respond that well.
      Though I don't think battle are that interesting, they don't feel like they have much depth. I don't see a way to avoid enemy hit or guard them, and don't recall being able to avoid hits while crouching/jumping at the right time, it's more like "hit first, and stunlock".
      That feeling may come from the stiffness of the control, but just in case, I'll continue.
      The next point is more a personal opinion, but I don't really like the jump, you can't really use it to go past an enemy and it don't really help avoiding a hit.
      I don't know if they'll fit to your idea of battle in Lust Knight Adventure, but here's some idea about the battle. They aren't intended to be used all at the same time :
      > Change the jump so it's quicker to go up, and don't go as high as before (just enough to take platform), then let people avoid crouched hit while jumping, high hit while crouching.
      > Add a backdash button, which can be used to avoid enemy hits. It can also be a guard instead, or monster/weapon dependant, or a skill.
      > Add an auto-guard, which block hit coming from where a character face, and as the same heigh as your character (you can't block crouched it while standing, and can't block standing hit while crouching). (well, that idea is totally a reprint of Zelda 2)

      And, to finish about battles, being able to equip two spell at the same time would be (in my opinion) nice.

      - I like the fact that, right now, each mission have a different feeling. I hope you'll continue to put more diversity on that part !

      - I think (excuse me if I'm wrong) that your game run with flash, or something similar.
      If yes, would it be doable to also release your game as a .swf, which will allow cross compatibility on all plateform which can run flash ?

      Well, that's all for the moment. Since this post could be viewed as "not really nice", I'll say again that I really loved that game, and I'm looking forward to see the next demo, and the release !
